At 53 years of age, Paco Jémez is back in Spain, after two seasons in charge of Tractor, a club with which he chose to terminate his contract, following the attack carried out by Iran on Israel. I couldn't keep talking to my daughters every day, who would ask me, crying, to leave. When the attack happened, we looked for a way out." "It was like a movie, you can't imagine it. It's a country where you need a visa to enter or leave, you don't have freedom of movement. Since the attack on Israel, we decided to leave," began by saying the former center back. "They closed the airspace that day and the next, but we talked to the club, to see how we could catch a flight to Istanbul. We reached an agreement to terminate and we went to the airport without knowing for sure if the plane would leave," he added.
