Benfica humiliated by Óquei de Barcelos and eliminated from the Champions

Óquei de Barcelos secured, this Thursday, the first spot in the final four of the Champions League of roller hockey, eliminating Benfica from the competition. After winning at home against the Eagles, by 4-2, the Barcelos team won at the Pavilhão da Luz by 5-1.

The team coached by Rui Neto took an early lead, with a goal by Alvarinho at 5 minutes, before 'Poka' scored the 2-0 at 15 minutes. Danilo Rampulla made it 3-0 at the end of the first half (24')

The nightmare of the incarnate continued in the second half. Miguel Rocha (29') scored the fourth goal for the visitors, before Alvarinho scored again and scored the fifth five minutes later. The best that Benfica did was to reduce by Pol Manrubia (46').

In the semi-finals, Óquei de Barcelos will face the winner of tonight's duel between Oliveirense and Trissino. Also today, Sporting decides its future in the competition with Barcelona, while FC Porto will face Lodi.
