"His phone started ringing at 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning. I didn’t see who was calling and went back to sleep. After a while, I woke up and he was sitting on the bed, kind of crying. At first, I woke up all scared, because I didn’t know what had happened, and then he told me", he began by saying.
An episode that, according to AS Roma’s midfielder, could seriously jeopardise the forward’s possible return (whose contract with the Luz club ends at the end of this season) to Rosario Central, the club where he completed his training.
"It makes us sad, because he was very excited to return, and so was his family... It’s a dream he has, to return to Central. The way things are in the country, with what happened, it will certainly be a bit more complicated", he continued.
"It hurts that these things are happening, because he is one of those who deserves to return to his club the most and play where he was very happy, and where he wants to end his career", added the albiceleste international, about his compatriot.
