GNR starts today the inspection of motorbikes in the scope of 'Moto GP Jerez 2024'
Lisbon, Apr 24, 2024 (Lusa) - The National Republican Guard (GNR) is starting today a road patrolling and surveillance operation targeting two-wheeled motor vehicles on the main access roads to the border with Spain, within the scope of "Moto GP Jerez 2024".

In a statement, the GNR announced that the "Moto" Operation, which starts today and ends on Sunday, aims to "contribute to the reduction of serious accidents and ensure the fluidity of traffic and support road users".
The military guards will intensify patrolling and road policing actions on the main national roads, especially on the accesses to the border with Spain, due to the event "Moto GP Jerez 2024", in Gerez de La Frontera, in Cadiz, which will take place between Friday and Sunday.
