LBP regrets the death of a firefighter from São Martinho do Porto in an accident

The Portuguese Firefighters League (LBP) regretted, this Monday, the death of a firefighter from the São Martinho do Porto Volunteers in a traffic accident.
"The Portuguese Firefighters League expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues, for the death of Intern/Firefighter Carlos Alberto da Silva Ventura, from the São Martinho do Porto Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association", reads a note of regret shared by the LBP on social networks.
The information was also confirmed on social networks by the São Martinho do Porto Volunteer Firefighters.
"It is with deep sadness that we report the death of our Intern/Firefighter Carlos Alberto da Silva Ventura, victim of a traffic accident", they wrote, leaving their "deepest condolences to the entire family".
According to the regional press, the firefighter, who was around 40 years old, died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon, in the municipality of Rio Maior.
