The Ministers of Internal Administration, Health and Justice have planned to meet with trade union structures, Orders and parties on Monday, according to the pressing issues corresponding to each of their portfolios.

Health

After weeks of waiting, following the inauguration of the new Government, the team from the Ministry of Health is starting a series of meetings today with the professional orders of the sector, in a week also marked by the start of negotiations with the trade unions.

The President of the Medical Association will be the first to be received today by the Minister of Health, Ana Paula Martins, to whom he should present what he understands to be the priority measures for the sector.

After the Medical Association, the Ministry will receive the other orders, such as nurses and psychologists.

Police

Also on Monday, negotiations will begin between the Minister of Internal Administration and the structures of the Public Security Police (PSP) and the National Republican Guard (GNR), with the aim of "dignifying and valuing the security forces", but without specifying whether the Government will grant a mission supplement to the police.

The four socio-professional associations of the GNR and the six trade unions of the PSP that will meet with Margarida Blasco demand the granting of a mission supplement identical to that of the Judicial Police, but in a note released this week, the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) only states that "these meetings will be the start of building a basis for understanding and conciliation between the entities involved".

In the same note, the MAI also indicates that the purpose of the meeting is to "define and establish the methodology and protocol for hearing and negotiation" and to present "the assumptions of the scope and object for discussion and negotiation between the parties".

The first meeting today will take place at 4:30 pm with the Association of Guard Professionals (APG/GNR), National Association of Guard Sergeants (ANSG), Independent Socio-Professional Association of the Guard (ASPIG), National Autonomous Association of the Guard (ANAG) and National Association of Guard Officers (ANOG).

A meeting with the Trade Union Association of Police Professionals, Independent Union of Police Officers, Union of Police Professionals, National Union of Chiefs' Careers, National Union of Police Officers and National Union of Police is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
