Nine people were injured, one of them seriously, following a fire that broke out on the third floor of a six-story building in Monte Abraão, in Sintra, this Saturday afternoon.
One of the slightly injured is a firefighter, as confirmed by Notícias ao Minuto with the Greater Lisbon Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
The injured were divided between the Amadora-Sintra, São Francisco Xavier and Santa Maria hospitals, according to the same source.
The alert was given at 13:12.
The Queluz, Belas and Barcarena fire brigades were on the scene, as well as elements of the Public Security Police (PSP) and INEM.
