Moedas was with Metsola and left a message: "Vote informed"

The Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, was on a tour of the Portuguese capital on Friday morning with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, who visited Portugal and met with several national figures, including Prime Minister Luís Montenegro.
"Morning with the President of the European Parliament and with several young people to talk about Europe," wrote the former European Commissioner on X (formerly Twitter).
In the same message, Moedas also left a "brief message": "Vote in an informed way".
The Mayor of Lisbon was referring to the elections for the European Parliament that will take place on June 9 this year.
"We talked about our European experience and listened to their concerns about the distance that many young people feel in relation to the European elections," Moedas also reported in the same message on X.

On the same day, the former social-democratic MEP and current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, left a message of greeting to Metsola, whom he considered "an extraordinary Europeanist" and a "great friend of Portugal".
