Several humanitarian organizations have denounced the conditions in the Al Hol camp, controlled by Kurdish forces, where about 40,000 people live, mostly Syrians and Iraqis.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Migration, Ali Abas, confirmed this repatriation program, but did not want to specify dates, citing "security issues".

However, Abas said that the process should take place "at the end of the month".

The National Security Advisor and former minister Qasim al Araji said last month that there are nearly 20,000 Iraqi children in the Al Hol camp.
