Weight gain

"Cats will gain between one and two kilos during pregnancy."

Swollen belly

"You may also notice a large, rounded belly."

Pink nipples

"This happens just a few weeks into a pregnancy."

Vomiting

"Some cats will be sick during pregnancy, just like humans."

Discharge

"A small amount of clear discharge from the vulva is normal in pregnant cats."

Increased sleep

"This is another common sign in pregnant cats."

Increased appetite

"In a young, un-neutered female cat, pregnancy is the likely cause."

Becoming more affectionate or aggressive

"Hormones can heighten a cat's emotions."
