Cool down with a glass of this basil lemonade (it has vodka in it!)

Love lemonade and vodka? It’s time to try a cocktail that combines the two. Just follow these tips from Delish.

Ingredients:
9 large basil leaves, divided
1/2 cup vodka
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup lemonade
Ice
Club soda
Lemon slices, for garnish
Directions:
1- Tear the basil leaves into small pieces and place them in a small glass jar with the vodka. Seal and shake, then refrigerate and let infuse for at least 6 hours, up to 12 hours, shaking the jar occasionally.
2- Meanwhile, in a food processor (preferably a mini one), combine the sugar and the remaining basil. Pulse until the basil is finely chopped and the sugar is bright green.
3- Strain the vodka into a glass measuring cup, pressing on the basil leaves to release any remaining liquid.
4- Pour the basil sugar onto a small, shallow plate. Fill another shallow plate with water. Dip the rim of each glass first in the water, then in the basil sugar.
5- Divide the basil vodka among the glasses, then add 1/2 cup lemonade to each. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and top with club soda. Garnish with lemon slices.
