Actress Vera Kolodzig celebrated her 39th birthday this Monday, April 22nd, and after marking the date with an old photograph, she shared some remarkable memories.
"My wounded child has a huge pain with her birthday. I remember a birthday when my mother didn't sing me "Happy Birthday". Later I remember a boyfriend who didn't celebrate me and preferred to go to the party of the most popular friend at school, who was having her birthday on the same day as me. He didn't remember to write me a postcard or buy me a present", she said.
"Having a birthday is an event that can be highly emotional, it's when our year begins and when we reflect and define personal goals. It's when the child in us becomes more active than ever. But yesterday I comforted my wounded child with the party I always dreamed of: a sunny afternoon in an idyllic place, surrounded by people I love from various aspects of my life - friends from television, parties, spirituality, family, some friends of friends, Portuguese, foreigners, long-time friends and recent connections", she shared afterwards.
"We had time to relax, laugh, dive, chat, eat, dance, toast and make wishes with the candles on the cake. I let my happy child out and let her play, and I also fed my magical child with the presence of one", she reported.
"I love having birthdays, celebrating and being celebrated, receiving love and thoughtful presents too! How do you usually feel on your birthday?", she added, then leaving some thanks, especially for the affection she received. See the full post:
