CIM Viseu Dão Lafões approves 2023 accounts with a balance of more than 2.3 ME
The Intermunicipal Assembly of the Intermunicipal Community (CIM) of Viseu Dão Lafões unanimously approved today the 2023 accounts, with a management balance of over 2.3 million euros (ME).

The 2023 accounts, approved unanimously with 39 votes, were presented at the intermunicipal assembly today in Castro Daire by the executive secretary of the Viseu Dão Lafões CIM, Nuno Martinho, who highlighted that it was a year of the end of the community framework.
"The year 2023 was very demanding, taking into account the end of the community framework, which required the CIM, until 31 December 2023, to often assume a large part of this expenditure, the payment of all project expenditure, a set of financial resources that the CIM only received in 2024, largely due to the closure of PT2020", he stressed.
Nuno Martinho also highlighted that the revenue collected in 2023 by the Viseu Dão Lafões CIM "amounted to 15 ME, the majority of which relates to current revenue, with an execution rate of over 93%".
The 2023 accounts, he continued, "also indicate a high degree of both budget execution and current expenditure, as well as capital expenditure and revenue collected".
Nuno Martinho also praised the fact that in 2023, the accounts "reached figures close to 90%" of execution.
"The year 2023 demonstrated, once again, the performance of the CIM, from an operational point of view, also taking into account the net result of the year, in more than 226 thousand euros", he said.
The Viseu Dão Lafões CIM includes the municipalities of Aguiar da Beira (Guarda district), Carregal do Sal, Castro Daire, Mangualde, Nelas, Oliveira de Frades, Penalva do Castelo, Santa Comba Dão, São Pedro do Sul, Sátão, Tondela, Vila Nova de Paiva, Viseu and Vouzela (Viseu district).
