Usain Bolt gave an extensive interview to the television station Eurosport this Wednesday, in which he discussed various topics, including the rumours that he was considering returning to competitive athletics, at 37 years of age, to compete in the Paris Olympics.

"Ah, no, it's too late. If I had to return to competition, it would have been two years after I stopped [in 2017], for example, with a view to the 2020 Olympic Games. Now, I'm retired, I'm happy to go out, to have a drink... And my children keep me busy", he began by saying, laughing.

The Jamaican, who holds the world records in the 100 metres (9.58 seconds) and in the 200 metres (19.19 seconds) also revealed what he considers to be the record that he failed to achieve, in his career at the highest level.

"If I had one regret, it would be that I didn't run under 19 seconds [in the 200 metres]", added the former sprinter.
