Xavi furious after El Clasico defeat: "It's a disgrace"

Xavi Hernández appeared visibly irritated in the Santiago Bernabéu press room on Sunday night after Barcelona's defeat to Real Madrid (2-3). In a press conference after El Clásico, the Blaugrana coach contested the refereeing and the introduction of goal-line technology.

"I'm very disappointed. If we want this to be the best league in the world... We all saw that the ball went in. Since Getafe, at the start of the season, I said that I didn't like what I was seeing. Today was the last straw," Xavi began by saying, quoted by MARCA, continuing.

"The referee? Yesterday I said that I wanted him to go unnoticed and get it right. He did neither. If we want my league in the world, we have to introduce the goal line," concluded the Barcelona coach.

It should be noted that Barcelona's defeat brings Real Madrid closer to winning the title.
