Artur Jorge smiles for the first time in the service of Botafogo

In the third game, Artur Jorge achieved his first victory in Brazil. Botafogo, coached by the Portuguese coach, achieved its first victory in the Brazilian Championship by beating Atlético Goianense 1-0 in the second round of the competition.
The game, which marked the debut of the Portuguese coach in charge of the team at home, was decided by a goal from Mateo Ponte in the 34th minute. After the defeat by LDU Quito and the loss to Cruzeiro, Artur Jorge was able to smile for the first time.
With this victory, Botafogo is in 10th place in the Brazilian Championship with three points. Atlético Goianense remains without a victory in the competition and is 19th.
