Rúben Dias, Manchester City's central defender, did not hide his "frustration" due to the elimination in the Champions League, at the hands of Real Madrid, after the tiebreaker on penalties in the quarter-finals, recorded this Wednesday.

"I don't even know what to say... It's frustrating. We dominated the whole game and we go to penalties. The effort was there, we had opportunities. We tried everything to avoid penalties. That was what they [Real Madrid] wanted," started by saying Rúben Dias, in the quick interview area of TNT Sports, continuing.

"The team was there. We fought, we had our opportunities, but it wasn't our day. Sometimes the ball goes in, sometimes it doesn't. Now we have to look ahead to what's left of the season. We don't have much time to rest because we are in a very tight part of the season. Now is the time to be strong, especially in mental terms. We are still in two important competitions," pointed out the Portuguese international who was a starter, as was Bernardo Silva.

It should be recalled that Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, with PSG and Borussia Dortmund starring in the other knockout duel.
