"Barça! Barça!". Arda Turan accused of destroying $18 million mansion
The Case is in the hands of the Spanish Justice.

It has been almost four years since Arda Turan definitively abandoned Spanish football, after spells at Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona. However, he continues to make headlines in the neighboring country... and for all the wrong reasons.
On Monday, the Spanish newspaper El Periódico revealed that the Prensa Ibérica group is suing the former Turkish international in court over the total destruction he caused to the mansion he rented in the summer of 2015, when he moved to Catalonia from the capital.
The villa, which was valued at around 18 million euros at the time, is located in the Esplugues de Llobregat region and has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a 100-square-meter living room, a cinema room, and a garage with capacity for eight cars.
However, when it came time to return it, the owners were faced with a chaotic scene, with destroyed walls and damaged furniture and appliances, to the point that they estimated losses in the region of 230,000 euros.
"When Arda and his companions were watching football and scored a goal, depending on who it was, they would throw the television remote control into the pool. A thousand-euro remote control! And I think he threw about ten or 15 of them," began one of the people in charge.
"It's a sign of being out of touch with reality. Of course, they can't levitate and there is natural wear and tear on the house, but they left cigarette burns everywhere, even on the furniture. And you can imagine that in such a special house, repairing or replacing something is not simple," he continued.
"He just signed and started screaming like a madman: 'Visca Barça! Barça! Barça! (...)", added one of the owners, who also accused the former forward of being in arrears with his rent, which he insists on not paying.
