Santa Clara draws island derby with Marítimo and AVS thanks

Santa Clara and Marítimo did not go further than a draw in Funchal, in a game on Sunday that closed the 29th round of the II Liga.
In a duel between candidates to rise to the main echelon of national football, the home team had more chances to score, but they were not able to break the draw until the final whistle.
After the game, Santa Clara maintains the leadership of the II Liga with 60 points, but now sees AVS only one point away.
In turn, Marítimo is fourth with 51 points, five points behind third-placed Nacional.
