Approaching his 32nd birthday, Mohamed Salah shows no signs of slowing down, having scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in 35 games for Liverpool this season. Yet he remains a divisive figure.

On Tuesday, former England international Paul Ince, who played for the Reds as well as Manchester United and Inter Milan, acknowledged the Egypt international's goalscoring prowess but suggested he has other flaws.

"I think his record speaks for itself. Is he a world-class player? Technically, I'd say no," the former midfielder and current pundit told British radio station talkSPORT.

"I think sometimes when he comes inside on his left foot, the quality into the box isn't great. But in terms of being a world-class goalscorer and making things happen, yes," he added.
