Moments after Al Hilal's triumph over Al Nassr (2-1), achieved this Monday in the access to the Saudi Super Cup, Jorge Jesus congratulated his team for the 33rd consecutive victory (increasing the Guinness record) and also defended Cristiano Ronaldo, who was sent off in the final stretch of the derby between Riyadh rivals.

"We have a strong team with several stars, but the truth is that we managed to stand out collectively. It was another beautiful victory", he began by saying, in statements quoted in the newspaper Alyaum.

"Cristiano Ronaldo? Of course he will continue to be the best player in the world. He doesn't usually lose, he's not used to defeats and that's why he lacked that emotional control", he added after a match played in the United Arab Emirates.

It is recalled that CR7 did not escape a straight red card, in the 86th minute, when he ended up hitting Al Bulayhi with an elbow, while trying to push the opponent away to quickly make a throw-in, ending up generating a huge confusion between players of the Riyadh rivals.
