Félix: "Exit? We'll see if Atlético makes it easy. Cerezo wants me happy"

João Félix is playing his first season at Barcelona, on loan from Atlético Madrid, where he has rediscovered his joy for football. He has scored nine goals and provided six assists so far, and is one goal away from equaling his best season at Atlético.
Asked about staying in Catalonia at the end of the season, in an interview with Catalunya Radio, Félix opened up.
"Let's see if Atlético Madrid makes it easier. If it depends on Cerezo, I think so, he's a fantastic person, for whom I have a lot of respect and admiration. He has always been kind to me, to my family, especially to my mother, who always watches my games. I have a good relationship with him and I know he wants to see me happy. Let's see what happens," he said.
"I'm very happy, my family is also well. I'm delighted with Barcelona, with the people. The dressing room is spectacular and I'm very happy here," added the Portuguese international.
He also spoke about the criticism that is usually directed at him: "Currently, I'm relaxed about it. I've heard it all. I'm 24 years old, I've received a lot of criticism, a lot of praise, everything has happened to me. I take it well. At first it wasn't like that, as is normal, but now it's indifferent to me."
