Roy Keane 'lays into' Rashford: 'Does no one kick him up the backside?

After the controversy surrounding Erling Haaland, Roy Keane decided to turn his sights to Marcus Rashford, regretting that the English international continues to be an intermittent figure at Manchester United. On Sky Sports' 'Stick to Football' podcast, broadcast this Thursday, the former Red Devils player asked that someone close to Rashford start to provoke him.

"There is no questioning his quality. He is incredible, but something is wrong. We have had this conversation several times in recent months. A player can go through a negative phase, but he is not taking advantage of his football," Keane began by saying, continuing.

"I would not say that I am worried about him, but look at him and see that something is wrong. The people around him, family or coach, who accompany him on a daily basis? Nobody gives him an old-fashioned kick in the butt and says: 'Come on, we need more from you'? If you want to be a leader, if you are signing big contracts, then you have to take responsibility," said the former Manchester United Welsh midfielder.
