Paulo Bernardo convinces Celtic and Benfica is already 'rubbing its hands'

Celtic are reportedly considering triggering an option to sign Benfica loanee Paulo Bernardo on a permanent basis before the end of the season.
According to a report on Monday from British outlet Football Insider, the Scottish giants have been impressed by the midfielder’s performances and could activate a €7 million option to buy clause.
The news comes just 24 hours after the Portugal Under-21 international played a starring role in a 3-0 win at Livingston, coming off the bench to score a goal.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract at Benfica until June 2027, has now scored four goals and provided two assists in 26 appearances for the Bhoys.
