Madeira. German falls on the tip of São Lourenço and needs rescuing

A German fell on the path of Ponta de São Lourenço, in Madeira, and activated the Santa Cruz Lifeguard Station (SANAS103) this Friday.
According to a note from the station, the vessel assigned to the Santa Cruz Lifeguard Station was engaged in the rescue of a German citizen, around 45 years old, who fell, with suspected trauma to his right lower limb.
He was assisted on the site by the Machico Firefighters and taken to the Quinta do Lorde marina - from where he went in an ambulance from the same corporation to a health unit.
