Northern Line service restored after fatal accident
Train circulation on the Linha do Norte has been fully restored after a person was run over and killed in the Azambuja area, a source from CP told Lusa today.

The alert for the run over, which happened "outside the station", was given at 3:54 pm, said a source from the Sub-regional Command of Lezíria do Tejo of the Civil Protection.
The road was interrupted in both directions, but the circulation was gradually reestablished and, at this moment, it is already "normalized", added the same source.
Nine vehicles and 19 operatives from the Volunteer Firefighters of Azambuja, the Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation (VMER) of the Vila Franca de Xira Hospital, the GNR of Azambuja and elements of the Civil Protection of the municipality of Azambuja were on site.
