Several Offences detected in the Minho River fisheries
Three violations of the TIRM fishing regulation were detected.

The Caminha Local Command of the Maritime Police, in collaboration with the Minho Naval Command, carried out an inspection action on Thursday, April 25, targeting the fisheries of the International Section of the Minho River (TIRM).
During this action, the elements of the Maritime Police and the Naval Command, using two boats, went down part of the TIRM, from Melgaço to Monção, and carried out foot patrols along both banks of the Minho River, inspecting about 100 fisheries.
According to a note from the Portuguese Navy, "three infractions were detected in the TIRM fishing edict, two in Spanish fisheries and one on the Portuguese bank, the latter relating to a fishing gear called 'cabecera', abandoned on the bank without identification, with the elements of the Maritime Police having seized and drawn up the respective report".
During this action, a training session was also held with the Minho Naval Command team, with the aim of training for the safe crossing of rapid zones.
Three elements of the Caminha Local Command of the Maritime Police and four military personnel from the Minho Naval Command were involved in this action, supported by two boats and two vehicles.
