A light vehicle skidded off the road between Torre de Vilela and Brasfemes, in Coimbra, on Wednesday morning.
The accident on Municipal Road 537 (EM537) caused one injury, who was being treated at the scene when Notícias ao Minuto confirmed the incident with Civil Protection, around 9 am.
The alert was given at 8:30 am and there are 20 operatives on site, supported by seven vehicles.
Elements of the Brasfemes firefighters, as well as the Coimbra Firefighters, were on site, in addition to INEM and the National Republican Guard (GNR).
