PSP arrests man for domestic violence in Caldas da Rainha
The suspect, 36, had an arrest warrant pending, having also already served an effective prison sentence for crimes related to theft and receiving and trafficking of narcotics.

The Public Security Police (PSP) arrested, on Thursday, a man who had an arrest warrant pending for the crime of domestic violence, in Caldas da Rainha, in the district of Leiria.
According to a statement sent to Notícias ao Minuto, the authorities searched for the suspect, 36 years old, and ended up locating him in the city center.
The citizen was taken to the prison establishment to fulfill the most serious coercive measure, preventive detention, now awaiting trial.
According to the PSP, the suspect is "known" to the authorities, since he already has a criminal record due to crimes related to theft, receiving and drug trafficking. For these crimes, he had already served an effective prison sentence.
