"The enemy has once again attacked the country's energy infrastructure" between Friday night and today, Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said on the social network Facebook.

The Ukrainian minister said that there was "damage" to energy facilities in the cities of Dnipropetrovsk (center-east), Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv (west).

In a statement, the operator DTEK reported that four of its thermal power plants were "severely damaged" by the Russians' "massive" attacks between Friday night and today.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that between Friday night and today they intercepted 68 Ukrainian 'drones' in the Krasnodar region (south) and in Crimea.

According to the Russian ministry, 66 of these 'drones' were shot down over Krasnodar territory and the other two over the Crimean peninsula, annexed by Russia from the Ukrainians in 2014.

"The Ukrainians tried to attack oil refineries and other infrastructure. According to local information, there are no injuries or serious damage," Krasnodar region governor Veniamin Kondratyev said on the social network Telegram.

The Ukrainian army has increased its attacks with 'drones' in Russian territory in recent months, particularly targeting energy facilities.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
