Russian military already preparing for Moscow Victory Day parade
It marks the anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in 1945, which ended the Second World War. It is celebrated on 9 May.

Russian troops marched through the capital Moscow on Friday under the watchful eyes of the public ahead of a rehearsal for a parade to mark the anniversary of Victory Day on May 9.
The day, which features large military parades, commemorates the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945, which marked the end of World War II.
Preparations for the big event are already underway, as you can see in the gallery above.
In 2020, for the first time, the 75th anniversary celebrations of Victory Day were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
