Twins marry twins and now daughters (cousins) are genetically sisters
Girlfriends are 'quaternary sisters', since they share a very similar DNA.

Marriages between siblings (from different families) are not uncommon. However, it is unusual for identical twins to marry identical twins, and for both couples to have daughters who share so much DNA that they are considered genetically full sisters, like what happened in Oregon, USA.
According to People, twins Kerissa and Vanessa Sealby, who have thousands of followers on social media, started dating twins Jacob and Lucas in 2020.
Vanessa started dating Lucas weeks after meeting him on a blind date. The couple later introduced their siblings, and Kerissa and Jacob fell in love.
Both relationships worked out. After getting married, the couples moved into neighboring houses and have welcomed two baby girls: Sophie, born in 2022, is Kerissa and Jacob's daughter, and Adrian, born in 2023, is Vanessa and Lucas' daughter.
Although the girls are technically first cousins, genetically they are 'quaternary sisters', since they share so much DNA.
Speaking to Today, John Pappas, director of the division of genetics at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at Langone Health, said they "share DNA the same way siblings would."
Despite this, the parents say the children have very different personalities. "Adrian is more intense, while Sophie is more chill," Kerissa told People.
