Crocodile found near plane wheels at US air base
"Our latest aviator has been reassigned to a more appropriate environment off base," read the social media post from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida.

An approximately 10-foot alligator was found lounging by the wheels of a parked airplane on the tarmac at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida on Monday.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was called to the scene, and officers were able to wrangle the reptile off the runway.
In a video posted on social media, the animal can be seen having ropes tied around its body, tail and snout. It was then led away, according to the New York Post.
After the situation was resolved, the air base joked about its new “airman” on social media. “Our newest Airman has been relocated to a more suitable habitat off base,” the post read.
