A 10-year-old boy discovered the bodies of five people who were "violently" killed inside a suburban Oklahoma City home Monday, authorities said.

"This was not a gas leak. This was not a fentanyl situation. These are five people who were killed," Oklahoma City police Sgt. Gary Knight said, according to KOCO.
"These people died a violent death," he said.
Police found a gun near a male victim, but they have not said whether they believe the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.
No details were released about the boy who found the bodies. The two children who were among the victims were a sixth-grader and a ninth-grader.
Police said they are in the "early stages" of the investigation and would not comment further.
