This is according to Cantabria Labs, which has launched an awareness campaign to combat hyperhidrosis, with the support of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology.

Worldwide, 3% of the world's population suffers from hyperhidrosis, but only 27% of people seek a solution. Aware of the numbers, Cantabria Labs launched an awareness campaign to combat this pathology, with the support of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology.
Under the motto 'Don't change your shirt, change your solution', this campaign aims to raise awareness of the existence of treatment and the importance of consulting specialists. A website was even developed.

Hyperhidrosis is a nervous dysfunction characterized by excessive production of sweat in specific areas of the body, such as armpits, hands, feet and face. In addition to physical discomfort, it can negatively impact the quality of life of those affected.
"It is crucial that we recognize this pathology not only as an aesthetic issue, but as a medical condition that can be successfully treated. We recommend that, if you have symptoms of hyperhidrosis, you seek medical advice, especially from dermatologists specialized in this area, to obtain appropriate treatments", you can read in the statement.
