Leandro recovers after contracting dengue. "I lost about 5 or 6 kilos"

Leandro was in Brazil and contracted dengue fever, as he explained to his followers. This Thursday, April 25, the artist recorded a video to reassure his fans while he continues to recover.
"He is still recovering. I was in Brazil for almost two weeks and on the last day, before I left, I started to have very high fevers," he reported at the beginning, adding that he had to return to Portugal because he had a concert scheduled in the Azores.
"Day after day things got worse, I continued to have a high fever, some symptoms began to appear and I ended up realizing that I had been bitten by the dengue bug," he said. "[...] I ended up losing about five or six kilos" , he said.
Even so, he managed to go on stage and perform in the Azores. Now he is at home recovering.
"I'm fine, relaxed, recovering. I have some spots all over my body. My body still hurts a little, my joints, my appetite is still very reduced, my skin feels strange... It's not contagious, it's a mosquito that bites us. Now it's just a matter of recovering. I hope that by next Monday I'll be well enough to start rehearsals because we have a concert on the 11th and I hope to be at 200%," he also said.

As the SNS website explains, "dengue is a disease caused by a flavivirus that is hosted in the human body through the bite of a mosquito of the Aedes genus. Dengue is not transmitted from person to person, except from mother to child during pregnancy".
