Lisbon Stock Exchange up with BCP rising 1.12%
The Lisbon stock exchange was trading higher today, with BCP shares leading the gains, appreciating 1.12% to 0.32 euros.

Around 09:45 in Lisbon, the PSI gained 0.28% to 6,548.05 points, with eight 'stocks' rising and eight falling.
BCP shares were followed by those of EDP Renováveis, Sonae and Galp Energia, which rose 0.71% to 12.74 euros, 0.43% to 0.93 euros and 0.40% to 20.07 euros.
EDP, NOS, Navigator and Greenvolt shares rose 0.40% to 3.54 euros, 0.15% to 3.29 euros, 0.14% to 4.19 euros and 0.06% to 8.31 euros.
On the other hand, shares of Ibersol, Jerónimo Martins, Mota-Engil and REN fell 0.84% to 7.10 euros, 0.64% to 18.51 euros, 0.57% to 4.17 euros and 0.45% to 2.23 euros.
The other four shares that fell were Corticeira Amorim, Altri, Semapa and CTT, which recorded losses of 0.41% to 9.68 euros, 0.29% to 5.22 euros, 0.26% to 15.56 euros and 0.22% to 4.51 euros.
The main European stock markets were mixed today, awaiting the presentation of more corporate results and the publication of the first estimate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the first quarter in the United States.
Wednesday's session saw widespread losses in Europe, with Madrid down 0.46%, Frankfurt 0.27%, Paris 0.17% and London 0.06%.
The New York Stock Exchange closed mixed, with moderate variations and investors being selective in their investments, depending on the companies' results (including Meta's, which, despite doubling its profits, plummeted in after-hours trading), and cautious ahead of the release of relevant indices.
The market is awaiting today the results of several technology companies, such as Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon, while on the macroeconomic front, attention will be focused on the first estimate of US GDP for the first quarter, which, according to experts, should confirm that the economy grew at a good pace.
In Europe, the Gfk index of German consumer confidence will be released, following data on industrial prices in Spain, which moderated their fall in March by three tenths, to 8.2%.
In the commodities market, the price of Brent oil for delivery in June opened higher today, trading at $88.35 on the Intercontinental Exchange Futures (ICE) in London, against $88.02 on Wednesday.
In terms of exchange rates, the euro opened higher on the Frankfurt foreign exchange market, trading at $1.0725, against $1.0691 in the previous session.
