Former President of Sporting's General Assembly responds to FC Porto's midfielder.

"Nico González may not be psychologically well"

Jaime Marta Soares, former president of Sporting's General Assembly, said he believes, this monday, that Nico González may "not be well psychologically", after the Spanish midfielder said, after the victory against Casa Pia, that FC Porto was "better" than Sporting, despite the 18 points that separate the rivals.

"Maybe it's a problem, he's not well psychically and psychologically. Sometimes people go through those moments and then say things that have no support", Jaime Marta Soares began by saying, in an interview with Rádio Renascença, continuing.

"It can only be a bad moment in the player's life. Or else he should change his profession, because, if he interprets football that way, he's a bit out of the real context of what football is" concluded the former president of Sporting's General Assembly.
