Remember Romagnoli? Former Sporting takes over command of Argentinian club
43-year-old coach was introduced as the new coach of San Lorenzo.

Leandro Romagnoli was introduced this Friday as the new coach of San Lorenzo, a promotion to the main team after having been in other echelons.
"We want to announce to all San Lorenzo fans that we have decided to choose Leandro Romagnoli as coach. He is the right person to start a different sports path", announced Marcelo Moretti, president of the historic Argentine club.
"It is a unique opportunity for me. I am very happy. I feel more nervous than when I debuted as a player... Being a player is easier. You train, take a shower and leave. When you are a coach, you think more during the week, it is different, but the players are the most important, the ones who decide and execute. I am more nervous, but I will overcome it", said the former Sporting player, who had already taken over the Buenos Aires team as interim.
It is worth remembering that the former midfielder stood out at Sporting between 2005 and 2009, later returning to San Lorenzo, where he ended his football career in 2018.
