Éder recalls Sérgio Conceição's 'message': "You can't be nice"
The former Portuguese striker crossed paths with the FC Porto coach at Sporting de Braga.

Éder Lopes gave an extensive interview to the program 'Futebol Arte' this Friday, broadcast by Sport TV, in which he recalled some of the most striking moments of his career, namely the time he was coached by Sérgio Conceição.
The former Portuguese international crossed paths with the FC Porto coach at Sporting de Braga and recalls Sérgio Conceição's high level of demand.
"Sérgio Conceição is a different coach at all levels. At the beginning I was not so used to his demands. He even said to me 'Oh Éder, you are very nice for a striker, you can't be nice'", began by saying the now director of the Portuguese Football Federation.
The former striker also recalled the goal he scored in France at Euro'2016 and which was worth winning the first European Championship in the history of Portuguese football.
"In the preparation game with Estonia [7-0] they asked me if I was ready and I said that I would score in the European Championship, but I didn't say it was in the final. When we went to the European Championship, I played in the first two games and I thought I wanted to help, also because there were many criticisms of the squad and I understand perfectly", he stressed.
"Fernando Santos has already said this, at the time I told him 'mister, don't worry, I'm going to come in and score'. Far from me knowing that it was going to happen. Before the game, I thought we were going to win the Euro and I might not even play", he concluded.
