Ten Hag puts an end to the controversy: "Garnacho has apologized"
Erik ten Hag took advantage of this Friday's press conference to preview the FA Cup semi-final match against Coventry City to put an end to the controversy involving Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentinian international 'liked' posts on social media platform X that pointed the finger at the Manchester United coach himself, for the fact that he had substituted Amad Diallo for him at half-time in the match against Bournemouth, which ended in a 2-2 draw. However, everything seems to have been cleared up.

"Alejandro is a young player. He has a lot to learn. He apologised for what happened, and we move on," he began by saying, in statements reproduced by the British newspaper Manchester Evening News.

"Of course we want to win every game, and when we don't win, we are disappointed. We are frustrated, but we also know that we can beat the best teams. We drew twice against Liverpool, we played very well against Chelsea," he continued.

"When we play at our level, we can achieve very high points. Last season was last season. We want to win trophies, we have a great opportunity. We are in the semi-finals, but it is a great challenge," he added.
