Bernardo Silva explains Manchester City inconsistency with... "hangover"
Portuguese international believes that the team can "fight for all competitions".

Manchester City host Real Madrid on Tuesday in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, after a weekend in which they overtook Liverpool to move to the top of the Premier League.
The reigning European champions are enjoying a period of harmony after months of inconsistency in terms of results and ambition. A situation that Portuguese international Bernardo Silva sought to explain at the press conference ahead of the game at the Etihad.
"There is always an explanation, and I think it's a mix of different things. In a team that won the 'treble', there was a bit of a hangover, and having that hunger again is not easy," he began by saying.
"It's a mix of having many injured players, having new players and those who left. The new players have to adapt, which is not easy," he continued, in statements reproduced by British television station BBC Sport.
"Everything came together, and sometimes teams are not perfect. Inside, our feeling at the moment is that we would have to fight as much as possible to give ourselves the opportunity to fight for all competitions. We have to fight," he added.
