Barcelona rejects millionaire offer from the Premier League for Raphinha

The summer transfer market opens in just over two months, but Barcelona have already started to receive offers for some of their assets, including Raphinha, a player who played for Sporting and Vitória SC in Portugal.

According to Tuesday's edition of the Spanish newspaper Sport, a Premier League club (whose name has not yet been revealed) has sent a formal offer of 60 million euros to Camp Nou in recent days with a view to acquiring the Brazilian international.

The same publication adds that the board led by Joan Laporta has responded to this move with a resounding 'no', and has made it known that it will only consider giving up the forward for something like 80 million euros.

Even so, the expectation is that the English will return to the charge soon, not least because they are well aware of the qualities of the Porto Alegre-born player, as a result of his time at Leeds United between 2020 and 2022.
