'Firefighter' Bruno Fernandes saves Man Utd from Bournemouth disaster
Portuguese international scored both of the Red Devils' goals in the visit to Vitality Stadium.

Manchester United remain without a win in the Premier League and, this Saturday, had to suffer to achieve a draw in the view of Bournemouth (2-2), in a game of the 33rd round.
With Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes starting on the side of the Red Devils, it was the home team that opened the accounts at Vitality Stadium. Taking advantage of a lack of attention from the visitors, Solanke scored in the 16th minute.
On top of the half hour, and in a collective play well organized by United, Bruno Fernandes appeared loose in the penalty area and, despite not having succeeded in a first-time shot (due to a cut from the defense), he ended up trying his luck on the second attempt, with great success (31').
However, and still in the first half, Justin Kluivert put the Red Devils back to losing with an accurate shot in the 36th minute. The defeat at half-time led coach Erik Ten Hag to stir up the break and the fruits were collected in the second half.
Adam Smith played the ball with his hand inside the area and the referee of the game had no doubts in pointing to the penalty mark Bruno Fernandes (who else?) was called to beat the maximum penalty and scored twice in the match at 65 minutes.
The two teams fought for victory until the final whistle, but the result did not change again. Even so, it should be noted that the final stretch was marked by a decision that promises to generate controversy. The referee of the match awarded a penalty to the home team at the end of the game, but after VAR intervention, the maximum penalty was withdrawn.
With this result, Manchester United go to the fourth game in a row without winning in the competition and maintain seventh place with 50 points. Bournemouth is 12th with 42 points.
