Black Bulls win the Super Cup Mário Esteves Coluna
The Black Bulls Association, coached by Portuguese coach Hélder Duarte, won the Mário Esteves Coluna Super Cup in football today, beating the reigning champion, Ferroviário da Beira, by 2-0.

The goals for the victory were scored by Cadre at 17 minutes and Samuel at 77 minutes, in a game where the Associação Black Bulls completely dominated their opponent at the Campo Municipal de Maxixe.
"Fortunately, we managed it. We were lucky in the game and managed to score at the right moments. Congratulations to my players and now it's time to think about Costa do Sol [the opening game of Moçambola, the main Mozambican football competition]", said Hélder Duarte at the end of the game, who won the 2023 Moçambola for Ferroviário da Beira.
For the current coach of Ferroviário da Beira, also Portuguese Daúto Faquirá, the Associação Black Bulls had a deserved victory.
"The Black Bulls team showed themselves to be more mature than ours at times (...). Accepting defeat is hard, but it's part of football", declared Daúto Faquirá.
Today's game marks the beginning of the season, preceding the start of the main Mozambican football competition, the Moçambola, which starts on April 20 and will be played until November 10.
This year, the Moçambola will have four Portuguese coaches: Horácio Gonçalves, at Costa do Sol, and Sérgio Branco, at Ferroviário de Maputo, in addition to Hélder Duarte and Daúto Faquirá.
In the Moçambola, over 22 rounds, 12 teams will try to win the most important title in Mozambican football.
