Almost a year after the accident, PSG authorizes Sergio Rico to play
Spanish international fell from a horse in May 2023 and spent 26 days in a coma.

Sergio Rico has reportedly been given the 'green light' to return to the pitch almost a year after he suffered a serious accident while horse riding in Spain, which left him in a coma for 26 days.
According to information released on Thursday by French television station RMC Sport, the clinical department of the Parisian club has declared that there is no longer any danger to the French international, following the episode that took place on 28 May last year, 2023.
The expectation is that the goalkeeper will be able to return to training, alongside the Portuguese players Danilo Pereira, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and Gonçalo Ramos, as early as this month of April, so that he can be used before the end of the season.
The last official match for the 30-year-old player was on 7 May 2022, when he started in the heavy defeat suffered by Mallorca (the club he was on loan to) when they hosted Granada, losing 2-6.
