Nuno Lobo 'attacks' Benfica: "In Portugal they are untouchable, poor reality"

Nuno Lobo used social media this Wednesday to 'attack' Benfica regarding the controversy related to the ban on the Eagles' fans in Marseille, due to the poor behaviour that has already been pointed out (and punished) by UEFA.

"A situation that is not new abroad", began by saying the candidate for the presidency of FC Porto, when citing a news story reporting the ban on Benfica fans in the second leg of the Europa League 'quarter-finals'.

"In Portugal, they are untouchable in everything they may be involved in, our sad and poor reality", he added.

It should be recalled that, due to the punishment applied to Benfica by UEFA, due to the poor behaviour of its fans (with a suspended sentence for two years), the club ended up being "formally notified by the French authorities of the ban on the presence of fans" in the second leg of the Europa League 'quarter-finals', in Marseille, which is why it also decided to ban the entry of Olympique Marseille fans, this Thursday, in the first leg. Even so, the fan clubs guaranteed that they will be... present.
