Luis Enrique's former assistant remembers the turnaround in Barça-PSG: "He warned us"

Juan Carlos Unzué, former assistant to Luis Enrique during his time at Barcelona, was challenged to recall the epic comeback (6-1, 6-5 on aggregate) against Paris SG in the last 16 of the 2016/17 Champions League, precisely seven years before the Spanish coach would once again face off against the two European 'sharks', this time as coach of the Parisians.
"When I watch those videos, the first thing I remember is seeing him jumping around there. Yes, I say it calmly and I also laugh because time has passed, but very quickly. The crowd had the feeling that this was also being achieved for them because I have never seen a Camp Nou more dedicated to the team from the first minute, from the warm-up. Even when PSG made it 3-1, the people made the players believe that it could be done and it was achieved", he recalled, in a match in which the Catalans scored three goals in a row in the final stretch.
"Where did the comeback start? I would say in the dressing room in Paris after the thrashing [4-0]. He warned us that we were going to turn it around and we already know how he is. If he transmits anything, it is naturalness and when he transmits that confidence, it is spectacular. I remember the conversations in those days before the game when I myself would have gone out to play. We went at 300 miles per hour to play on the pitch. It was three intense weeks", the 56-year-old coach then recalled.
