“We will put security first,” Microsoft CEO promises
The statements come as part of a report that reveals the vulnerabilities of Microsoft that became evident following a cyberattack.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the company will focus on improving its cybersecurity, during the latest financial results presentation.
As reported by TechRadar, the statements were made in the context of a report by the Cyber Safety Review Board (CSRB) on a cyberattack that targeted the Redmond-based tech giant in the summer of 2023.
The report, published in March 2024, stated that Microsoft had made a series of “avoidable mistakes” and had failed to detect several vulnerabilities in its own systems.
“We are doubling down on this very important work, putting security first – ahead of all other features and investments”, Nadella said.
