PSD deputy attended Pedro Nuno Santos' internal campaign in PS
Current social-democrat deputy Andreia Bernardo worked as a consultant in Pedro Nuno Santos' campaign for the PS direct elections in December, but she assures that she had no further professional contact with the socialist leader.

"I have always been linked to the area of communication with diverse clients. At the same time, I also have political activity. I have always kept them separate", Andreia Bernardo, who appears as the president of the Lisbon District Political Commission on the Social Democratic Youth (JSD) website, told Lusa today.
In the last legislative elections, Andreia Bernardo, 32, ran in 18th place on the Democratic Alliance (AD) list for the Lisbon constituency, was a councillor at Sintra City Council and is now a municipal deputy for the PSD in this municipality.
Andreia Bernardo was present at the PS national headquarters, in Largo do Rato, in Lisbon, on 13 November last year, when Pedro Nuno Santos presented his candidacy for PS secretary-general for the December direct elections. She gave her personal contact details to several of the journalists who covered the event, making herself available to give them more information about the current PS secretary-general's internal campaign.
"That was the only time I went to Largo do Rato [PS headquarters]. I never went back there", she assured Lusa.
The current PSD deputy gave Lusa information about Pedro Nuno Santos' internal campaign activity until at least 18 November 2023.
Andreia Bernardo says that, in November last year, she was working as an account director at the Gomes de Almeida & Associados Agency and, in a short space of time, provided "assistance" to the team assigned to provide communication advice to Pedro Nuno Santos.
"We then left the communication advisory role. And the agency was left only with the strategy, social media and creativity (design)" of Pedro Nuno Santos' candidacy, she added.
Regarding the pre-campaign and electoral campaign periods for the 10 March legislative elections, when she was already formally a candidate for deputy for the AD in the Lisbon constituency, Andreia Bernardo assures that her agency "had no involvement whatsoever" with the PS.
"João Gomes de Almeida was involved, but in an individual capacity. It was an individual consultancy dealt with directly with Pedro Nuno Santos", she added.
